Notes: I originally got this idea while listening to Saliva's `Bleed For Me'. Then the damn thing didn't really want to be a songfic, but I put the lyrics at the end anyway. (Which I’m sure is not legal, so no one tell Saliva, ok?) It kinda set up the flow for the whole thing. Also, I didn't think I could come up with a more fitting title, although I'm sure more fitting titles are out there... Character death.
Summary: Lars pays for his past perceived sins.

Notes: Type O Negative's song "Go To Sleep" is about --TO ME-- loving your life, but knowing that it is destructive and you have to leave it behind. Whether that be drugs, your lover, whatever... you have to move beyond what you know and where you are comfortable. The concept seemed to lend itself to these guys beautifully (as well as a set of wrestlers). It’s a thought driven song fic; not a lot of physicality... except a lil’ kissin’ :)

Notes: Originally, this started as a cheesy idea that wouldn’t go away. So, I wrote it, then liked it... enough to work on it! Imagine that. So this idea that wouldn't go away all of a sudden had a very natural part two. Then part three reared it's ugly head. I think that'll be it though. Yes, I do. (kicks musi into closet and locks door) Although it was written with the image (and attitudes) of the Load Tour in mind, it can really go into any time period I guess). If you don't know how to play, it is explained in the story. Lil' bit of angst, lil' bit of Kirk's sensuality.... My first fic longer than a ficlet since ‘Pampered’ and considerable better.
Summary: ‘Tallica play the juvenile drinking game "Never Have I Ever..." James doesn't care what they do as long as he gets to drink... but he starts to care.

Notes: I think this can stand on it’s own, but it’s existence was caused by NHIE Part One. So you might want to read that first (a few happenings from NHIE 1 are referenced). Keep in mind that half of my knowledge is from secondary sources, and if it is used, it is only for the sake of the story. Also... I play around with the Tallica time line a little bit. In the notes to Part One, the time period was set as Load era. The appearance and attitude of the guys is still right then. However there are a few mentions of things that happened in the past few years. Most notably, the passing of Paul Baloff. For those of you unfamiliar, he was the lead singer of Exodus, Kirk’s band before Metallica. Paul died in February of 2002, yet the incident is mentioned in this fictional tale, set mid 1990's. I wouldn’t have played around with the time line if I didn’t think it could enrich the story. So, like with all fan fic please suspend your disbelief. Sequels are rarely as good as originals, but sometimes a necessary evil ;) Also... not everything is answered. There *is* a part three after all....
Summary: James may be reluctant to admit it, but he is itching for a round two.

Not really any notes to add that hasn’t been said before: Load era in my imagination, although I took a few liberties with the time line (especially in part two). (Just in case) TMI means too much information.
Summary: Kirk and Lars decide to try to get through to James using a drinking game called “Never Have I Ever” When James sees the light, Kirk gets cold feet. Lars gets sick of the waffling. So since a juvenile game got them into it, they play another to finish it (they hope): Truth or Dare.

Notes: Song fic– I’m sure you’re shocked. Now prepare to be actually shocked: I managed to write something nice! After killing Lars, my muse had been haunting me. I was listening to a SheDaisy song "Passenger Seat" one day and thinking ‘hey this would make such a sweet fic' and then saw Sel's 274th post about a sex challenge. And what can I say? I gave in.
Summary: James can be very convincing when Lars is in good enough of a mood to let himself be convinced.

Notes: I wrote this because “bandwagons are funny”. It was suppossed to be a snarky joke, but then a few people actually enjoyed it. *shrug* A pairing I never thought I’d write... and fluff! I so did not write ‘Sometimes’ or any of the lyrics. But I will cop to actually liking the song. But I didn’t write it, and I get no money from reprinting the lyrics here. I’ll just say, I’m a journalist and actress. I have to write and say things ALL the time I don’t believe in. This at least was fun and tongue in cheeky. Who knows, some day *I* might like it. But... not holding my breath. ;) At least it’s out of my system :)
