Notes: This ficlet is special to me. Not only is it the first hockey fic I ever wrote, but it is the first fic staring (or featuring) Robert Esche. When I started reading hockey fic, I was sad when I found out there was NOTHING with him. Now I'm so pleased that there are at least 3 other authors who have a Chico muse. This is for the Affiantati Challenge: There's this italian word "Affiantati" which means 'the unspoken affection between two people in love.' My challenge to you is to write a fic using this idea of "unspoken affection". Doesn't matter what teams, which players, or how many you use. All that's required is "Affiantati." I've been told I have weird taste in men. What can I say? The hyper and the Yetis just do it for me
Summary: There's just as much stress off the ice as on, and sometimes there's no way to alleviate either.

Notes: Tony and JR fight. And then they make up. Just as a bunny was hopping by, I was cleaning and found my "Like a Prayer" tape. The title is a Madonna song. This came from Sunday night watching 'Sports Final' and hearing that JR was asked for a list of 10 clubs he'd agree to be traded to and me then being near tears. I don't want to lose JR! And then I thought that if it was this bad for me, it must be HORRIBLE for Tony and how can they do this to them again... and then my Tony muse got all loud... and I just can't resist noisy AND angsty *g*
